Sydney Design/Art & About
In 2011, Art & About celebrates ten years of transforming Sydney into a canvas and creating a living gallery on its streets with work that will make Sydneysiders stop, laugh, think and smile.
Creative Director/Producer Gill Minervini says ‘This year, Art & About is [...] an open invitation to tell it like it is, or was, or should be – and share it.’
Art & About opens in Sydney on 23 September 2011, and runs for a month, closing on 23 October. Don’t miss this chance to see Sydney as you’ve never seen it before, and will never see it again.

Sydney Design is an annual event produced by the Powerhouse Museum in association with more than 60 cultural institutions, organisations and individuals. With over 100 events, the program includes inspiring exhibitions, workshops, master classes, talks, installations and tours – unpacking design, connecting people and creating meaningful dialogue around design issues.
The 2011 Sydney Design program ran 30 July – 14 August throughout the city.
In 2011, Object’s Project Space exhibition The Paper Attic by Benja Harney formed part of the Sydney Design program, with Object Gallery staying open late on a number of evenings with Benja in attendance to talk about his work.
Visit the Sydney Design website for more information and to keep up to date on the 2012 program as and when it is announced.
